A leading North American beverage producer had a recurring buildup of microbial film on its bottling and canning lines in several plants, which led to frequent line stoppages and the need for intense manual cleaning.
A Pyure custom solution was designed and installed on one site to provide cleansing of the bottling and canning lines. Pyure custom solutions were subsequently deployed in five additional plants.
The beverage company saw an immediate improvement, and the microbial film was progressively lowered. Line stoppages were reduced from every two days to every four days, and the man hours needed for manual cleaning were reduced from 12 hours to 4 hours. The company also saw a reduction in odors within the plant.
